Biodome essay

Last Wednesday I went with my classmates to the Biodome. We spent a nice day together. It was my first meeting with them, it was a great opportunity for me to socialize with everyone.
Inside was very warm like tropical weather with cute tropical animals.
Our teacher tried to teach us a new words in English, it was very interesting trip. We saw many kinds of animals. I was fascinated by the penguins and their amazing features.
At last we saw a great discovery of beluga skeleton who lived in the north of the Saint Laurence river.
I have been glad to participate at this activity….

MONTREAL BIODOME

The biodome the best place to learn about the different types of animals. Most of them are from Canada.  The organisation of the animals was by environment . The first part is all the animals how live in really hot countries like mine ( Venezuela). We can find animals like chiguires, monkeys, crocodiles birds and so on.
In the second part of this museum we found how animals how live in countries like Canada. These areas are really cold! To be honest this part  was amazing because I have never in my life seen animals like that. I am in  love with this part of the museum and this last part of biodome was where all the penguins are. They were really beautiful and cutes .
For me it was a really good experiences it was something that I never been exposed to and was really different. There you learn about all nature. It was amazing because when you're going to different parts of the museum you  feel the change of temperature . So if someone asked me I definitely say that they have to go to this museum. It's something that everyone has to experience.

My Montréal Experience

This is my name in Arabic. Martuecos, a friend wrote it for me. what makes me happy here is knowing people from other countries and learning their culture. In Montréal, I'm learning different ways of thinking and I hope we humans  learn a  little of each other

Twins Reunited After Four Decades

 The twin sisters Ashley and Kate were the daughters of a poor woman. When they were very young they were abandoned in an orphanage. Luckily for them they were adopted by two different families.

The twins lived very similar lives. They were both born in New York, and studied accounting at university. And both were adopted in 1968.
It was only at the age of 45 that they discovered each other and just how similar they were: identical twins who had been separated.

It came to light when Kate, who had been living in Paris, had decided to seek her birth mother. She was told that the mother was not interested in meeting her, but was then informed that she had an identical twin, Ashley.

After not knowing her sister for  four decades, with help from social workers she was able to find her within days.

The two women met for the first time two years ago and talked for long hours because they had many questions, and some of them were left unanswered.


Their meeting was magical and full of emotion.

My first Halloween in Montreal!

My first Halloween in Montreal was pretty cool. I had never had that experience because in Brazil we don't celebrate Halloween.
So I was very excited, and really wanted a  costume that was unique and original. So after thinking about it,  I had an idea to dress up as a ghost. It was so funny everybody laughed

It was so nice! I gave candies to children.
So I really liked my Halloween

Embarrassing Pictures

It bothers me when someone takes pictures of me without my permission.
Last week, I was sleeping when my friend came at home. He took a picture of me sleeping and posted it on the net. When I saw it, I was very upset and embarrassed that people see me in this condition with my duck pajamas and my hair looking very bad.
I think the least we can do is to respect the privacy of each other even though I know he did this just for fun.

At University, one day

When I was studying  university one day, we went to party at Denis' house. It was a really wonderful, fun day.
I arrived early and played football( soccer), people was dancing and my friend Ramiro cooked pot roast. I  ate very delicious, spicy food.










One moment embarrassed me when my friend jumped to the pool, then all my friend´s jumped in with our clothes on even me, and we were all wet but all enjoyed this day. I miss university and my friends.
